I was born near Barcelona, where I started my musical studies. Over the years I obtained degrees from the Conservatori del Liceu. I studied law and worked as a public servant, until one day I decided to leave everything behind to undertake the study of bel canto, my vocation. Since then, the CONTINUAL artistic formation of my voice has been an essential part of my development as an interpreter.

I traveled to Florence to learn singing techniques with the baritone Gino Bechi and the soprano Margherita Rinaldi; I perfected these techniques in Master Classes with singers of international profile like Leo Nucci, Victoria de los Angeles and Carlo Bergonzi; I studied diction and artistic expression with Palma Toscana, teacher of the Manhattan School of New York; I attended special courses of aesthetics and baroque ornamentation at the Center de Musique Annicienne in Geneva. My interest in the pedagogy of the voice led me to participate in the V International Congress of Artistic Voice in Ravenna 2009. I follow the novelties and scientific developments at the Congress of Artistic Voice and other forums.

I have sung in emblematic places of the bel Canto in Italy: Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, Cremona, Prato, Cortona, Viareggio, Pisa, Bologna; In Spain: Barcelona’s Catalan Music Palace, Pau Casals Auditorium in Tarragona, Kursaal in San Sebastián, Fraga Theater in Vigo; In France: Sarrebourg Festival, Baroque Festival of Ambronay, Lyon Opera; In Switzerland: Geneva, Loussanne; In Holland: Ütrecht, Amsterdam, under the direction of teachers like F.M. Martini, Bruno Rigacci, Simone Perugini, Gabriel Garrido, Leonardo Marzagalia, Piero Bellucci, Marco Vavolo, Alberto Nanetti, Oriol Martorell, Lluís Vila, Francesc Guillem, and Ensemble Elyma Orchestras, Florence Symphoniette, Tuscany Orchestra, Verona Orchestra, Orchestra of the Regio Theater of Parma and Orchestra Symphony of the Vallés.

I was honored by representing Spain singing at the opening ceremony of the Calgary Olympics. I also worked on concerts and commercials for Coca-Cola Company in the United States and Canada, where I had my first experiences in American musical theater, mainly George Gershwin and Lloyd Webber. I have recorded for Spanish, Catalan, and American television stations, Catalunya Music, France 2, Klassik Nederlands.

In 2012, I created the show “Zarzuela in Kabaret”. In “Zarzuela in Kabaret”, I showcase the history of Spanish and South American musical theater. The show has its roots in the singular, erudite, prolific, popular and celebrated essence of this musical expression and analyzes the cultural and social prejudices that lead to its decadence after four hundred years of existence.
